Freshman English

While the sport I usually play is table tennis, I choose tennis as the topic for this semester. Because table tennis is not popular in English spoken countries, it will make me hard to find materials about it. On the contrary, tennis has a good population in America, Australia and many other countries in Europe. There are also many tennis fans in Taiwan, such as my family. While only my father and my brother play tennis, all four members in my family enjoy watching tennis games.

I will use the following ways to enhance my English ability:

In listing, I will watch tennis games or reports on TV.

In speaking, I will chat with my brother about tennis in English.

In reading, I will read a magazine called “tennis”, which is an authority magazine in tennis.

In writing, I will use this blog to practice my writing skills.
